Project 3: Animated of the completed 3D Scene (Food Market)

Animation Rendering

FOOD MARKET

a line is drawn as a path. the camera is setting up as free camera and is link to the line with path constraint. the camera view is being set to human view height of 1800mm.

the speed is set to 1/4 so the video is not too fast where the view is viewed as people walking inside.
the rendering is saved as AVI file in the rendering tool bar before rendering is start.
the sky dome is created by drawing a sphere. the sphere is being modified as this dome shape by 'edit poly'.
material editor is opened to create a bitmap of the sky. the sky is being placed on the dome. it is being modified in 'modifier tab' with 'normal' to flip the sky dome to be rendered on the inside surface of the sky dome.
the camera is set for a new scene with the same method for the rest of the video.
the first scene is create by adobe premiere pro. the different view of the video scene is being connected with this software.
the video is exported as Media file. The 'use maximum rendering quality"
 is ticked to save it in the best quality. It is saved as 'AVI' file.


Enhancement on the video lighting is made in youtube by the 'video manager' setting.

Project 2b: Interior rendering (Food Market)

Interior Rendering

FOOD MARKET


Step 1: the desired light fixtures is selected and being placed on the interior.
the target light is choose and place on light fixtures.

the light fixtures is copied as reference to keep the same light setting for the selected light fixtures.

the fluorescent light is chose from the modifier list. it is set to 6000 lumen. the emit light shape chosen for is line.

the light sources is copied as reference in the plan view.

the same technique is used to create the light source for the different type of light fixtures which only copied as a 'copy' as the light setting is different.

this is the rendering effect in the 3ds max.

the outdoor light is placed with the same technique.

Step 2: after all light sources is placed, the light is adjusted to create the desired effect. the setting is changed to create the correct light effect.

Project 2a: Exterior rendering (Food Market)

Step 1: Material is applied in sketchup by a tool called 'bucket'.
the grass is applied to the walkway.
'bucket' tool. 
Step 2: the sketchup model is imported into 3ds max.

Step 3: waiting to import the file.
Step 4: the model is imported.
Step 5: the base is create and material is applied in 'material editor'.

Step 6: daylight is being set up manually.


Step 7: mr sky is select and clicked yes to get the daylight set on the scene.
Step 8: rendering set up. the image output size is 1500mm x 1125mm. the render setting is mental ray daylighting.


Step 9: rendering is start after the view is set.

Photoshop
trees, sky and people is added by photoshop.
the photo 'sky' is scaled to fit to the image.
the sky is dragged to photoshop.

Step 1: a rectangle is drawn and is extruded by 'push' tool. the rectangle is 'group' and made as 'component' for easier modelling.
Step 2: the rectangle shape is 'copy and paste' to create the step. 
Step 3: the first floor staircase is 'group' and made 'component'.

Step 4: the staircase is 'copy and paste' for fist floor.
Step 5: the column is create and being 'group' and made as 'component'.
Step 6: the column is copy by 'move' tool.
Step 7: the floor is extruded by 'push' tool.
Step 8: the wall is drawn as line by 'pencil' tool and is extruded by 'push' tool.

Step 9: the window is create with the same tool and method.
Step 10: the build up layer is unhide.
Step 11: other floor is build.
Step 12: same method is used to build the food market and it's surrounding.

RENDERING OUTCOME...
